2. Project Requirements
Clients are responsible for providing the information and materials reasonably required to complete their project.
These may include website content, images, logos, branding materials, domain and hosting access, WordPress credentials, product information, and access to necessary third-party services.
Delays in receiving required materials, feedback, approvals, or access may affect the project’s completion date.
3. Client Content and Materials
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use any text, photographs, videos, logos, graphics, trademarks, or other materials supplied to CNT Web Studio.
By providing these materials, the client authorizes CNT Web Studio to use them as reasonably necessary to complete the agreed services.
CNT Web Studio is not responsible for copyright, trademark, licensing, or other claims arising from materials supplied by a client.
4. Payments
Pricing and payment requirements will be communicated before or during the project through a quote, proposal, invoice, or other written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed, payments must be made according to the payment schedule established for the project.
Additional work outside the originally agreed scope may require additional fees.
CNT Web Studio reserves the right to pause work when required payments are overdue.
5. Revisions and Changes
Reasonable revisions may be provided according to the scope agreed upon for each project.
Requests that substantially change the original design, functionality, content, or project requirements may be considered additional work and may result in additional charges or changes to the project timeline.
We will communicate significant scope changes with the client before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
6. Project Timelines
CNT Web Studio makes reasonable efforts to complete projects within estimated timelines.
However, completion dates may be affected by factors such as delayed client feedback, missing content or access, third-party services, hosting issues, technical problems, or changes to the project scope.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, estimated completion dates are not guarantees.
7. Website Approval and Launch
Clients are responsible for reviewing their website and providing approval before launch when approval is requested.
Clients should review important information including:
- Text and spelling
- Contact information
- Forms
- Links
- Images
- Products and pricing
- Business information
- Website functionality
After approval and launch, substantial changes may be treated as additional work unless included in an ongoing maintenance or support agreement.
8. Third-Party Services
Websites may rely on third-party products or services such as WordPress, hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins, themes, payment processors, email providers, APIs, analytics platforms, social networks, or other integrations.
CNT Web Studio does not control these third-party services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, compatibility, pricing, security, or performance.
Clients are responsible for applicable third-party subscription, licensing, hosting, domain, transaction, or service fees unless otherwise agreed.
9. Website Maintenance and Security
Unless ongoing maintenance is included in the client’s agreement, clients are responsible for maintaining their website after project completion.
This may include updating WordPress, themes and plugins, maintaining backups, renewing licenses, monitoring security, and keeping hosting and domain services active.
Although CNT Web Studio follows reasonable development and security practices, no website can be guaranteed to be completely secure or free from technical issues.
10. Search Engine Optimization
CNT Web Studio may implement SEO best practices or provide SEO-related services when included in a project’s scope.
However, search engine rankings depend on many factors outside our control.
Therefore, CNT Web Studio does not guarantee specific Google rankings, search positions, traffic levels, leads, sales, or other SEO results.
11. E-Commerce Websites
For WooCommerce or other e-commerce projects, clients are responsible for their products, prices, taxes, shipping policies, refund policies, inventory, payment-processing accounts, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
CNT Web Studio may assist with the technical configuration of these features but is not responsible for the client’s underlying business obligations.
12. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of all amounts due for a completed project, the client generally receives rights to the custom website work created specifically for their project, subject to any separate written agreement.
Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts, stock assets, frameworks, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses and ownership terms.
CNT Web Studio retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, techniques, processes, reusable code, templates, and other intellectual property not created exclusively for a particular client.
13. Portfolio Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, CNT Web Studio may display completed projects, screenshots, publicly available client names, and descriptions of work performed in its portfolio, website, social media, and marketing materials.
Clients may request that confidential or sensitive information not be displayed.
14. Backups and Data
CNT Web Studio may create temporary backups while performing development or maintenance work.
Unless backup services are specifically included in an ongoing agreement, clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate long-term backups of their websites and business data.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CNT Web Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use or inability to use a website or related services.
This may include losses resulting from website downtime, third-party service failures, lost data, lost revenue, security incidents, or changes made by the client or third parties.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
16. Website Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep cntwebstudio.com accessible and functioning properly.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, hosting issues, technical problems, security measures, or circumstances beyond our control.
